Dr. Vladimir Stefan joins Community First Health Centers’ Port Huron Medical Center as a primary care physician.
Stefan brings a strong commitment to patient-centered and preventative care, according to a community announcement.
He earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands Antilles and completed his residency at Pontiac General Hospital. Over the past several years, he has developed a special interest in preventative medicine and geriatrics, most recently serving patients at a geriatric clinic.
Stefan will provide outpatient primary care services for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric care. His clinical services will cover preventive care, management of chronic and metabolic conditions, hypertension, common neurological and musculoskeletal issues, as well as office procedures and joint injections.
Stefan’s approach to care
“My approach to patient care is centered on partnership with the patient. I see healthcare as a team effort where the patient and I must work together toward their goals,” Stefan said in the announcement. “My goal is for every patient to leave a visit feeling heard, respected and confident about their next steps.”
Outside of the clinic, Stefan enjoys woodworking, reading, movies and traveling. He is especially excited to return to Port Huron and to join a clinic that shares his dedication to accessible, compassionate care.
Stefan will begin seeing patients in December. To schedule an appointment with Stefan or any of the Port Huron providers, call 810-488-8000 or visit www.communityfirsthc.org.
